Coronavirus update : Death toll at 83,Confirmed cases in India climb to 3,577.State-wise tally here
The total number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in India rose to 3,577 on Sunday, according to Union Health Ministry data. The earlier data recorded a total of 3,374 confirmed cases. The current data has added 203 more cases, while the death toll has increased to 83 and 274 patients have recovered from the highly contagious disease. One had migrated to another country, it said.

Out of the total confirmed Covid-19 cases,Delhi has been the worst-hit state from the deadly virus, reporting 503 positive cases and 7 deaths. Apart from that, the other most-affected states according to their recorded deaths are Maharashtra (24) Gujarat (11), Telangana (7), Madhya Pradesh (9), Punjab (5), Karnataka (4), West Bengal (3), Jammu and Kashmir (2), Uttar Pradesh (2) and Kerala (2). Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Himachal Pradesh have reported a death each.

65 are foreign nationals. Active cases in the country rose to 3,219. Delhi has the highest number of cases at 503 followed by Maharashtra (490), Tamil Nadu (485) and Kerala (306).

"274 districts across the country have been affected due to coronavirus till date," informed Lav Aggarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry.

Kerala and Maharashtra continue to have the highest number of COVID-19 cases currently

Telangana sees 6 Corona deaths among those attended Delhi religious prayers

HYDERABAD: Six people from Telangana who attended a religious congregation in Delhi's Nizamuddin between March 13 and 15 died due to novel coronavirus, the state government said on Monday. "Coronavirus has spread among some of those who attended a religious prayer meeting from March 13 to 15 at Markaz in Nizamuddin area in Delhi," according to an official release. "Among those who attended were some persons from Telangana." Two of the six died at the Gandhi Hospital, one each in two private hospitals , and one each in Nizamabad and Gadwal towns, the statement said, without mentioning the time of their deaths.
