Coronavirus Updates: 62-year-old man dies in Amritsar, Punjab reports second COVID-19 death

Till now there have been 1024 COVID19 confirmed cases in the country, including 96 who have been cured or discharged.

Five more test positive for COVID-19 in Rajasthan; total cases reach 59

  • Five people, including three of a family, tested positive for the new coronavirus in Rajasthan on Sunday
  • This takes the total number of cases in the state to 59.
  • One of them is a 53-year-old woman with a heart condition who visited a private hospital in Bhilwara where a few doctors and nursing staff had tested positive for the virus.

Telangana will be coronavirus-free by April 7: KCR

  • Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday said there are 70 coronavirus positive cases reported in the state while 11 have been cured and tested negative and they shall be discharged on Monday.
  • Speaking at a press conference, Rao said: "All the necessary diagnosis is done and the patients are being discharged after the formalities. 58 people are under treatment."
